Restaurants at Lake Annecy
Restaurants at Campings La Ravoire, Les Fontaines and Lo Velâjo – Our three restaurants offer a range of traditional dishes in a family-friendly environment on the pool terrace of our campsites on Lake Annecy. Guests from other campsites are welcome to eat in or take away from our restaurants.
Chez ma Cousine beautifully situated on the lakeshore, within walking distance of the campsites, this restaurant offers fine, quality cuisine. It has a lovely waterfront terrace and a large garden for children to play in.
Le Balcon du Lac– the 20-minute journey to this restaurant at the top of the Col de la Forclaz is well worth it. If you climb here on a fine evening, you can enjoy the sunset over the lake from the restaurant’s terrace! The restaurant serves local cheese dishes such as Tartiflette, Raclette and Fondue and some meat dishes, and prices are reasonable.
Les Jardins du Taillefer – a 15-minute walk from the campsite, this small vegetarian family restaurant is a great place to eat! The vegetables are grown on the farm, and the dishes are unique and interesting. The beverages and beers on offer are local and all homemade. A pleasure for the taste buds, even for the most reluctant vegetarians.
L’Aquarama – this restaurant on the Angon side of the lake (10 minutes’ drive from the campsites). The setting is magnificent. The menu is well thought-out and the dishes are of good quality. Being right on the lake, you can watch beautiful sunsets while sipping your cocktail with your feet in the water.
L’auberge de Pontgibaud – Above our little village of Lathuile, this restaurant overlooking the lake offers a beautiful panorama from its large terrace. The small menu offers quality fare and typical Savoyard dishes with a touch of finesse. A good address to discover!
Le Confidentiel, Menthon – this restaurant (20 min drive) is a very small and intimate restaurant located in the village of Menthon. When you come here, it’s not for the view or the pitch, but purely for the menu. This restaurant is often recommended by a number of our customers who love fine cuisine. It is also highly regarded in the region and in the Michelin guide. Be sure to book well in advance as there are only a small number of tables in the restaurant.
