The other best choice is Angon or Talloires on the other side of the lake (a 10-minute drive from the campsite), which are grassy beaches with beautiful mountain views.
On the bike path!
Rent a bike directly from Campings La Ravoire/ Les Fontaines / Lo Velâjo, or take your own bike around the lake on the flat, family-friendly cycle path, accessible to all. The Lake Annecy cycle path (also known as the Voie Verte) runs along the western shore of the lake for 19 km between Annecy and Doussard, and beyond to Albertville. More recently, the trail has been extended around the lake. On the other side of the lake, some sections of the cycle path are on the road, but this is rare. Our service providers offer a range of courses at different levels. The more adventurous can descend a 45-meter abseil in the Angon waterfall, while others can enjoy the natural slides of our canyons.
A great alternative to canyoning or paragliding for children over a metre tall (or older children and adults). The accrobranche above Talloires, Acro’aventures, is a very popular activity.
