Good news: Lake Annecy is the perfect place to satisfy active families, it is impossible to get bored!
A weekend full of new activities that will please all of the family and get you away from the usual routine !
Way to join the beach from the cycle path in Doussard
Short stay
Arrival on Friday evening:
Walk to the lake along the cycle path. Just past the camping le Polé, a path on the left brings you to the pedestrian crossing that crosses the main road to the beach at Doussard.
Saturday morning
Visit the old town of Annecy by bike!
Bring your own or rent them at the at Camping La Ravoire or Camping Les Fontaines, for a good price ! The off road cycle path is flat and safe and offers magnificent viewpoints for an unforgettable moment with your family. Depending on how fast you go, you will take between 45 minutes and 1h30 for the 17 km trip to Annecy. When you arrive in town, lock up your bikes and go for a stroll in the old town.
Samedi late afternoon
Activities at the campsite
Back at the campsite, children and parents can enjoy the swimming pools and the slides. Fun guaranteed!
The football pitch is free for a game of football or basketball. Don't hesitate to borrow a ball from us,the same goes for the ping-pong tables !
In the evening, enjoy a quiet meal with your family at our onsite restaurants at Camping La Ravoire and Camping Les Fontaines or back at your mobilehome / tent. Our mobile homes are all fully equipped with all the necessary implements you need for cooking. Some models have planchas and others have barbecues.
You can also order take-away from the restaurant.

Sunday:
Wam Park
After returning your accomodation / pitch by 10 am, you can continue to enjoy the facilities of the campsite.
On the way back, if you are heading to Chambéry or Lyon, spend a crazy afternoon at Wam park Albertville. This water sports complex offers giant inflatables, sensational slides with or without buoys and even an introduction to water skiing by cable.
It's about a 40 minute drive from the campsite, so there's hardly ever a traffic jam on this side.
If you come from the Camping La Ravoire / Les Fontaines you can benefit from a group rate, just show your bracelet !

We offer a wide range of two to three bedroom rentals, from the unusual (Lodge
SAFARI) to the very comfortable (TAOS 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms at Camping Les Fontaines or The Comfort 3 bed mobilehome at Camping La Ravoire). The hardest part will be to choose !
Our ideal programme for a week's stay for an active family
Day 1:
After driving, stretch your legs with a hike right next to the campsite.
Take the road to the right after the L’Ideal tennis courts, then turn left onto the "chemin du Nanceau". You can climb up to the L’Oratoire for a nice view of the lake, or stop at the Nanceau waterfall. It is also a very nice place to run or for mountain biking.
In the afternoon, ask about all the activities offered by our team.
The programme of activities is displayed or can be accessed via our "Cool'n camp" mobile application. You can also take advantage of the large playgrounds with its trampolines, slides, huts, city stadium and also our onsite gyms.

Day 2:
Head for the water activities available at Lake Annecy
The beach and nautical base of Doussard "Doussard plage" offers a wide choice of rentals: pedal boats, motor boats, wake boards, canoes, etc. The nautical base of Doussard Ski Wake 74 offers preferential rates on presentation of your bracelet from the wristband from the campsite.

Days 3 & 4:
Evening and night in a refuge at La Combe, Charbon moutain
A unique experience for the whole family: after a two-hour hike, you will be welcomed at the summit with a typical meal and a view of the mountain.
Book your night in a refuge to enjoy the calm, the starry night the peace and quiet, the starry night away from all light and noise pollution in the middle of nature. You will also be able to see the animals of the alpine farm and go back down in the day to normal life !

Day 5:
Family activities in the river to cool off !
Canyoning is possible from 8 years old. You go down a river or a canyon with an instructor by jumping several metres into the water, abseiling or sliding down natural slides. The views are magnificent, the white water swimming is invigorating and the sensations are there! Our partners will provide you with all the necessary equipment : helmet, ropes, neoprene suit so that you can enjoy the moment in complete safety.
Rafting consists in going down a river in an inflatable boat with several people. The nearest base is on the Isère river, about 1 hour drive from the campsite. The activity lasts between 1h30 and 2h while paddling

Day 6:
Visit of a typical Savoyard village: Le Grand Bornand/ Manigod /La Cluzaz
Located at 50-60 minutes drive from the campsite, you will be enchanted by these emblematic villages of our region.
In the heart of the Reblochon area, cows are everywhere in the green pastures.
You can visit a dairy and taste the cheese, but also take advantage of the ski lifts for sensational activities! Downhill mountain biking, luge on rails and at the end of August in Grand Bornand, the Festival "Au bonheur des Mômes".
Dozens of hikes are signposted, you can discover the Aravis, its passes and its Reblochon producers on foot or by bike.
In the heart of the Reblochon area, cows are everywhere in the green pastures.
