The Guardian UK
–Camping La Ravoire is an absolute gem on Lake Annecy, and well worth the boat trip to get there. Start your walk in Annecy from the Jardins de l’Europe and descend an hour later to Doussard, the southernmost point of the lake. It’s a wonderful 15-minute walk to the site from the beach. Alternatively, take the 51 o’clock bus, and get off at the Bout du Lac stop, just before reaching Doussard. We had a fantastic time at La Ravoire with its friendly pools, shady pitches, mountain views and fresh croissants. “
