But going on vacation in France is so much easier, you can take everything you need with you in the car without worrying about the weight of your suitcase! The Tour de France arrives in Le Grand Bornand on 03.07.21, leaves Le Grand Bornand on 04.07.21 and leaves Albertville on 05.07.21. There are therefore 3 days to see the circuit in the region, so if you plan your vacation around this period, you’ll be able to enjoy the carnival atmosphere offered by the Tour de France!
8. You can bring your dog!
No need to leave your dog at home! Normally, if you’re going abroad on vacation, it’s a hassle to ask someone to look after the dog or to find a kennel with availability, not to mention the extra cost. So when you’re on vacation in France this summer, you don’t have to go through this nightmare! You can take your dog with you on vacation – after all, the dog is part of the family too! NB Dogs are allowed on camping pitches throughout the season, however we do not accept dogs in our own camping accommodation in the high season of July and August.
9. If you book a vacation in France, you can be sure you’ll be able to go:
If you’re booking a vacation abroad this summer, then it could be complicated to get away due to PCR testing and quarantine requirements. It’s therefore more risky to book abroad, and your reservation is more likely to be cancelled. If you decide to stay in France, then you’re more likely to go, and if you take out “camper couvert” cancellation insurance, it covers you if you or your family have covid, or if you’re a contact case. You’ll be covered for many eventualities, so you can have peace of mind when you book and pay for your vacation at our campsites on Lake Annecy.
If you don’t manage to go on vacation for reasons beyond your control, you can then make your claim with them and recover the fees already paid. What’s more, if your region/department in France is confined or there’s a national lockout, we’ll offer you a “credit note” to use for 2022, which means you won’t lose the money you’ve already paid.
