Among the most beautiful beaches on Lake Annecy
How about a refreshing dip in freshwater after cycling around Lake Annecy in Haute Savoie? Located in Talloires-Montmin on the eastern shore of Lake Annecy, 9 km from the Annecy La Ravoire and Les Fontaines campsites, Angon beach welcomes you for moments of relaxation and swimming in Lake Annecy. This grass and sand beach has been laid out in a peaceful setting, at a point on the lake where the slope is very gentle. For this reason, it’s one of Annecy’s most beautiful beaches, and a popular one with families. Children can swim here in complete safety, and toddlers can splash around and cool off like their elders.
Activities at Angon beach
Angon beach is a well-equipped family beach with sunny and shady areas on the waterside lawn. Nearby you’ll find a parking lot, volleyball court, ping-pong tables, boules area, bar-restaurant, sanitary facilities, benches and picnic area. Forgot your equipment? Don’t worry: you can borrow a volleyball or ping-pong rackets, and rent a deckchair by the lake to relax and sunbathe in the Savoyard sunshine. In summer, swimming lessons are available for adults and children. Of course, you can also take part in other water sports or visit the nearest water sports center for more choice!
Information and admission fees
Angon beach is open to the public in summer, from June 20 to August 30. It is open to the public every day during this period, between 10:00 and 18:45.
Single rate :
- adults and over 15 €2.20 (€1.20 after 5:30pm)
- children aged 4 to 15 €1.20 (€0.70 after 5:30pm)

- adults and over 15 € 17

Good to know:
- Free access for children under 4 in summer, free access out of season
- The Angon beach is permanently supervised from opening to closing in summer.
- For your own safety, once you’re in the water, stay within the designated swimming area.
Among the many activities available in the region, you can also go paragliding from the Col de la Forclaz with its breathtaking views of the lake and mountains, or go canyoning!
