Port of Doussard
Located at the end of Lake Annecy, facing the massif des Bornes and the summit of La Tournette, the port of Doussard is an invitation to relax and enjoy sailing on one of Europe’s purest stretches of water. The Doussard marina welcomes rowing boats, sailboats and motorboats on moorings accessible via a pontoon. It offers dry port services (parking with the possibility of putting boats on a trailer), cocooning (thermobasting) and winter storage. Access to the harbor and boats is secured by a televideo surveillance system. The port is also home to a leisure center.
Nautical activities
The Doussard water sports center is located at the entrance to the port. It offers rentals of water sports equipment for adults and children, beginners and advanced:
- Canoeing: single, double or triple
- Stand-up paddle: single or double (tandem)
- Giant stand-up paddle (up to 10 people)
- Windsurfing (single, windfoil)
- Catamaran
These numerous nautical activities can be enjoyed with family or friends. For greater safety, and to enjoy several experiences in less than a week, the Doussard water sports center organizes summer courses in high season, lasting from 1 to 5 days, just like in a sailing school: sailing and advanced courses, Multi Gliss courses for trying out 2 or 3 board sports, Glisse et Grimpe courses for combining water sports and canyoning… These packages are particularly aimed at holidaymakers who love water sports and who are staying at a campsite near Annecy, and who want to make the most of their vacations in Haute-Savoie. If you want to improve your technique quickly, opt for private lessons in optimist, windsurfing or water-skiing. Our qualified instructors will give you personalized attention and help you achieve your goals. - Hobie Bravo morning sailing course (10-14 yrs): €160, Monday to Friday, 10.30am to 12.00pm.
- Mini Hobie Bravo morning sailing course (6-12 yrs): €100, Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:30am to 12:00pm.
- Multi Gliss course (+8 years): €415 per day, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5pm.
- Gliding and climbing course (+10 years): €415 per day, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm.
- Multi Gliss Discovery course (+8 years): €220, Monday to Friday, 3pm to 5pm.
- Mini Stage Multi Gliss Découverte (+8 years): €125, Mondays and Tuesdays from 3pm to 5pm.
- 1-hour equipment rentals: single paddle €17, double paddle €28, giant paddle €70, single kayak €17, double kayak €22, triple kayak €29, catamarans from €35, dinghy €75.
