Hiking at Combe de La Sambuy
In fine weather, La Sambuy attracts hikers in search of heights and wide-open spaces. From the top of the chairlift in the Combe de la Sambuy, there are several hiking and walking trails accessible to children and beginners. You’ll pass through magnificent mountain pastures and have the chance to sample local produce, including goat’s cheese from the Bouchasse farm. Half-hour guided walks are organized every day (except Wednesday) from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. You can also join a group for a 2-hour hike on a Tuesday or Friday morning, organized by a local guide who will share with you the secrets of the ecosystems around you.
Summer sledging at La Sambuy
At La Sambuy, sledging can be enjoyed in all 4 seasons. Get ready to hurtle down a 600 m-long track with your children (from 1.05 m) and scream your lungs out as you tackle each of the 9 bends. The summer toboggan run is open daily in high season from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
